IRON MEN DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS

The II Tim. 2:2 principle is to train others to perpetuate the ability to strengthen each other spiritually. Our hope is to "make disciples" who in turn can stand shoulder to shoulder with us to carry on the will of God to reach the world with the gospel. Pastor Mike meets with 3 men on Tuesday evenings at 6PM, two men on Thursday morning at 10PM, and 5 men on Thursday nights at 6PM. We will be starting another group on Thursday nights at 7PM. If you would like to join a group and be involved in more intense spiritual training and growth, please contact Pastor Mike today.

STUDYING THE PARABLES

After our midweek fellowship meal on Wednesday nights the Youth and Children go to their classes and the adults stay in the Fellowship Hall for our weekly Bible Study. Currently we are studying the Parables of Jesus Christ. Wow! To be able to listen and understand the very words that Jesus himself spoke and then to correctly apply the concepts to our everyday life. Currently we are studying the "Lost Sheep" Luke 15:1-7.

GOSPEL OF JOHN CHAPTER EIGHT

The Jews had a lot of questions, Who was Jesus, where did he come from, will he kill himself? Please take time this afternoon and take a look at this passage.

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME

In an effort to not let Daylight Savings Sunday slip up on us this year we want you to knowin advance that it will be on Sunday Nov. 1. Make a mental note and we'll keep you informed proir to that Sunday morning.

COULD YOU HELP

There are several areas where wecould use your help. The nursery, toddlers, Jr. Church, and Wiseguys all need helpers. We need work done on the playgorund and some of the buildings need repairs. If you would like to help, we can use you where ever you have abilities to help out. See Pastor Mike or Mrs. Ward today.

FALL FESTIVAL "TRUNK OR TREAT"

In response to last week's announcement about the lack of church funds to provide for the Harvest Festival this year, some have asked if they could have a "Trunk or Treat" event on the church parking lot. This is where individuals fix up the trunk of their own car and supply the gifts, candy and anything else in cooperation with several other. If you are interested in participating and would like more information se Nina Trinidad.

LOST SHEEP - ARE STILL BEING FOUND

Wednesday night after the evening service Pastor Mike sat down on the back pew of the auditorium with Gabriel Alvarez and Albert Garza, Jr because both had expressed a desire to their parents about getting saved. It wasn't long and they prayed to ask Jesus into their Hearts. Another 20 yr. old young man was here in thr adult Bible  study and he accepted the Lord on Thursday, PTL!!!
